After 28 days of drying and 45 days of stabilization, this lot offers rich notes of dried cranberry, clove, cacao powder, and malt. How did you come into working in coffee?
I am a third-generation coffee producer, and my farm was started by my late grandfather in 1927. I took over the farm from my father 32 years ago.
What makes this harvest or lot different from others?
My passion is to produce higher quality specialty coffee by using science as your main tool in coffee processing.
What would you say separates your coffee from others?
I am very focused on building long term relationships with our partners across the globe.
What does your day consist of managing the farm or farms?
I am fully involved with all day-to-day operations at the farm and I specifically handle post-harvest processing in our microbiology lab.
What opportunities are you looking for from people who buy your coffee or work with you currently?
I want to showcase our coffee from India one of the leading emerging origins for specialty coffee. I want our roaster partners to educate the customers about the uniqueness of our coffee.
Where does your sense of passion for coffee come from?
Yes
Are you looking to grow relationships with long-term partners?
This harvest is very special as we have started to use our bioreactors for very specific types of fermentations that I have designed.
